Biological efficiency tests
Plant protection agents must be able to effectively fight pests and pathogens without harming the cultivated plants. Therefore, the efficiency tests of plant protection agents have a high value in approval procedures. BioChem agrar is competently available to its partners from the chemical industry both in the execution of orienting field tests (non-GEP) and for realisation of approval tests for plant protection agents in compliance with the GEP.
Our Service
We conduct biological efficiency tests in all agricultural cultures for our partners. A highly motivated and trained team with many years of experience in execution of open-area tests, a modern, technically diverse equipment park and Europe-wide test bases are the basic pillars of our work.
Efficiency tests under GEP
BioChem agrar has been certified to the criteria of “good experimental practice” (GEP) since 1998. In the realisation of approval tests for plant protection agents, we examine both the biological efficiency and phytotoxicity of agricultural chemicals (insecticides, acaricides, herbicides, fungicides) according to the EPPO standards. A broad weed, disease and pathogen range is competently recorded in many cultures in this.
Biological efficiency tests (non-GEP)
BioChem agrar conducts efficiency tests at a very early, still orienting stage of product development for its partners. Both the biological effectiveness and phytotoxicity of agricultural chemicals (insecticides, acaricides, herbicides, fungicides) are examined by us according to good technical practices.
